What this site collects
We do not ask you for personal data. The site has no accounts, forms, comments or newsletter sign-up, and it does not run analytics, advertising pixels or social media plugins.
Like any website, the server that delivers the pages records standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is held by our hosting provider so that the site can be delivered and kept secure. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other data.
When you follow a link to a provider
The article links to the provider's own sign-up page. The address of that link contains campaign identifiers, so that the provider can recognise that a visit began on this article. Those identifiers describe the article, not you.
Once you arrive on the provider's website, it is the provider, not us, that collects any information you give it, and its own privacy policy applies. We never see the details you enter there.
Why we handle this data
Under UK data protection law, the basis for the server records above is our legitimate interest in running and securing a website. We keep them no longer than our hosting provider's standard security retention period.

You may ask us for access to personal data we hold about you, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form.
